Returning in the early establishment of the Majlis Daerah Kota Tinggi known as the Town Board where most administration is under the administration of the Government. On April 1, 1961, the Town Board has been changed to the Town Council in which the entire administration into Autonomous Statutory Bodies Financial and grant assistance from the State Government.
